I think one important point the film makes is about mashups. Many of my favourite songs are mashups. Here are some examples by a guy who goes by the name of Pogo:

Yeah he’s great. It would be a shame if the digital-locks provision of the Canadian Copyright reform ended up outlawing this kind of thing. 😐
As it stands it would do just that. They really need to look into things.
