Kitchener the Cozy City

We had to do it.

We needed to escape from the city while all of the FIFA celebrations were going to be taking place in our neighbourhood. There was no way that Victoria and I were going to stay in Toronto for all of that chaos.

We had planned for a few years to get out of town when FIFA came to Toronto, but the fuel crisis had pushed our plans a little closer to home.

The week after we would be going up to Billie Bear in Muskoka, but the first game would take place a week before that. So we made plans to check out a city we had both not been to before.

Victoria sought out an AirBnB because to our minds it was an easy option, and perhaps we could avoid some of the trouble of a hotel for 2 days. We wanted to stay in a very central location as we would not be renting a car.

I forgot to write the rest of this post and share it, so I'll do that now and share the rest of the story later.
