There are a lot of things coming up in my life soon. I’m interviewing for a new job again. I’ve been at this so long it can start to feel hopeless, but I really feel good about this place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My skills match, the culture feels like a good fit, and it seems like a fun place to apply myself for the foreseeable future. Wish me luck!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In other news, I’ve downloaded xemu, the classic computer emulator. I have it running the Mega 65 which is a modern remake of the prototype Commodore C65 computer. Making things in BASIC is one of the ways I spent my time as a kid. This is a modern retro remake which allows you to code in BASIC as soon as the machine is turned on just like old times!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don’t know if anything will come of it, but maybe I can try to make some simple sprite based games or something like that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also have done some maintenance on my Minecraft server that my friends play on very rarely at this point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next big thing I’m preparing for is Furnal Equinox<\/a>. I’m co-hosting a panel with Commander A9<\/a> about VRchat! We are hosting a VR portal<\/a> where furries can see each other in a VR world and in real life at the event! This is something we’ve been doing pretty much throughout the pandemic years and ever since.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The convention itself looks to be a bigger and better event than before. Hopefully the elevators all work this year. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
